In the past 7 years, Aya has spoken at many venues, including universities, schools, high level dialogues, summits, forums, hearings, conferences and rallies in countries around the world including in the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil, Thailand, the Phillipines, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Morocco, Turkey, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Her talks have been addressed to audiences of activists, students, academics, leading civil society organizations, policy-makers, development practitioners and professionals. She delivered numerous keynote talks, including at the UN Women, Fulbright, MEPI, BOND and International Civil Society Week. She is frequently featured in the media on topics related to youth rights, youth radicalization, social movements, Pan-Africanism, peace-building, feminism and a range of other issues.
